Every Aapanam BLDC ceiling fan sold by Yash Retail is built to last and backed by clear, customer-first policies. Here is everything you need to know.

5-Year Warranty

Each fan carries a 5-year warranty on the BLDC motor - more than twice the cover most brands offer. The warranty protects against manufacturing defects in the motor and electronics under normal household use.

  • Covers the BLDC motor and on-board electronics against manufacturing defects.
  • Valid from the date of delivery shown on your order.
  • To raise a claim, message us on WhatsApp or email with your order number.

Replacement Policy

If a fan arrives damaged in transit or has a manufacturing defect, we will replace it. Please report it within 7 days of delivery with the unit unused and in its original packaging.

  • Share a photo or short video of the issue along with your order number.
  • Approved replacements are dispatched at no extra cost.

Installation

Every fan ships with a downrod, canopy set, mounting hardware, a remote (on RF models) and an instruction manual. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician for safe, rattle-free performance.

Return & Refund Policy

Aapanam Vixa fans are sold on an advance-payment basis, and as with most made-to-order and appliance purchases, we do not offer returns or refunds once an order is placed. All sales are final. We ask every customer to confirm product specifications, dimensions, and finish on the product page before checkout.

That said, we stand fully behind the quality of every fan that leaves our factory. If your Aapanam Vixa arrives defective or damaged in transit, we will replace it free of charge — no questions asked — once the claim is verified.

For international orders, verified replacements follow the return-to-base process described in our Warranty Policy. Replacement is the sole remedy under this policy; we do not issue cash or original-payment-method refunds for defective or transit-damaged units.

How replacement works

  1. 1Report the issue within 7 days of delivery, along with a clear unboxing video that shows the defect or damage as the box is first opened.
  2. 2Our support team reviews the video and order details, and confirms the claim — usually within 1–2 business days.
  3. 3Once verified, we ship a free replacement unit (international orders follow return-to-base per the Warranty Policy).
