Aapanam Vixa - Make in India
Best BLDC Ceiling Fans in India for 2026
Compare the Aapanam Vixa models sold by Yash Retail, from classic metal-blade designs to premium ABS and wood-look finishes. Use rated power, air delivery, room requirements, current price and warranty coverage to choose a fan for your home.
Why a BLDC fan is the smarter buy
BLDC stands for brushless DC motor. The current Aapanam range is rated 29–40W. Compare that with the rated power and air delivery of the exact fan you currently use; the running-cost difference depends on speed, daily use and electricity tariff. Check installation and service requirements alongside motor technology.
Buying checklist: what to compare
- Motor type: insist on a genuine BLDC motor - that is where the electricity saving comes from.
- Motor warranty: check the motor warranty, not just the fan warranty. Aapanam Vixa gives 5 years on the motor; compare each competing model on its own terms.
- Remote: compare included controls and features; RF remote performance depends on range and surroundings.
- Sweep size: the current models are 1200mm; check room dimensions, ceiling height and installation clearance.
- Finish: pick a colour that matches your ceiling - black, white, smoke-grey or a decorative trim.
