Description
The VT98334R is an active CCTV video balun receiver that is compatible analog CVBS, AHD, HD-TVI, and HD-CVI type security cameras. Active video baluns (also known as UTP baluns) are powered so that they can amplify the video signal longer distances than passive (non-powered) baluns. CCTV baluns transmit video signal from security cameras using unshielded twisted pair / UTP cable such as CAT-5 cable instead of coax cable, such as RG59. The VT98334R can be paired with a compatible passive video balun to create an amplified video signal that can transmit CVBS video up to 2700 feet using CAT5.
When the VT98334R is paired with the VT98334T active video balun transmitter, the effective distance increases up to 7200 feet for CVBS. The required DC power supply is included when you purchase this product from CCTV Camera Pros.
Note: the VT98334R receiver and VT98334T transmitter can be purchased together in the AVB1 active balun bundle.
